The Beginning

So as I have been spending countless hours on Facebook I decided to start something new. I am going to jump on the band wagon of blogging. Mainly to keep up with times and also because i think it is a great resource. I have stumbled across some of the top photographers websites and they are all blogging these days. They have some very education articles which is very inspiring. So...here goes nothing and please excuse my terrible grammar, hopefully that will improve with blogging more often...or only get worse.

The other week fellow photographer James Fry and I were talking about doing something photography related but not work related. Seems lately we have been getting bogged down shooting events for campus...you can only shoot so many lectures and speakers before it gets old. So we decided to take a group of people into some abandon buildings in Bay City, MI. It was a blast and also served several purposes. 1) have fun 2) get away from campus 3) build portfolio 4) have fun 5) learn 6) be free and creative 7) have fun 8) make a video.

The video is pretty rough right now. I love apple but imovie is a little ridiculous when it comes to editing video. I didn't have final cut on my macbook pro so imovie it was. I will be reworking the video in Final Cut once I get my hands on it. So with that in mind here is the video...
